For years I have been watching the Star Wars movies, never thinking I would actually see one for the first time in theaters. The last Star Wars movie to hit theaters in my life time was Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith in 2005, and it was stinker. If you ask anyone who considers themselves a fan of the Star Wars movies, they will tell you the first trilogy was some of the best cinema ever created, and the second trilogy was in comparison just completely awful. In retrospect, I have never not known a time in my life where Star Wars hasn’t existed for me.
