This article is divided into three sections. The first one is things that might cause road rage. The second provides ways to measure road rage and finally how to intervene and reducing road rage. Road rage appears in many other countries not only the United States. Third, there's three factors that contribute to road rage. One of them is Situational/Environmental Conditions, It is when someone is stuck in traffic, and something happened that ruined your travel can all contribute to the commuter. These could cause stress, and irritation it could contribute to the anger and aggressive driving. Driving anger is associated with reckless driving and crash related condition such as loss of concentration, loss of control and close calls.
Another variable is demographic and age a genders is the one being the most observed. Younger driver tend drive riskier than older drivers and road rage. Older drivers are less affected by other drivers. Younger drivers tend to be more susceptible to to experiencing stress while driving. Men are more prone to traffic violacion than women's.
The second part of the article is to measure the rage road. One of the ways is a Driving scale. The person are asked to imagine themselves in various situation and determine how mad they would be in a scale of 1-5. Another test is a driving anger expression inventory it is designed to measure the ways an individual's show anger while driving and they are rated on a four point scale.
