Boys & Girls Club

After doing tons of reach on the Boys & Girls Club of America I am convinced that this organization is one that goes through lots of training and preparation to get the right people ready to be apart of the legacy they are creating for our future generations. Being a former member and employee of the company I can say from my personal experience this company will do whatever it takes to make sure they have an eye for finding qualified, caring, professionals that love to work with children to help show these kids that someone cares about their future and is willing to invest time and energy on the job to do it.
Majority of the Boys & Girls Clubs have all faced a common issue, a lack in the leadership department. Many of the current leaders or seasoned leaders are at a point where retirement is their next step in life and no longer have to work anymore, which has caused a gap in leadership with the new upcoming leaders of the organization.

The organization began by conducting a 360-degree assessment of every local leader, employing a capability model that measured nearly 50 aspects of leadership. The results from the analysis aided the Boys & Girls Club in what to expect or look for in their future leaders in the

With the knowledge that I have about the company I know they are non profit organization, so what ever training they decide to conduct it would have to be within a certain budget to help keep the cost down. I also know that they are driven on finding employees from within and helping to coaching and promoting them into a role that would help them grow into a role that would fit them. The skills the employee would have to possess is being able to listen, knowing how to address the public and basic customer service skills, experience training individuals to work with
