can think of another type of lie of omission: omitting facts so that the speaker takes the blame from the one deserving of the blame. All people want as little punishment as possible, so this type of omission looks to be selfless and not selfish. However, I claim that because everyone’s natural instinct is to take the as little blame and punishment as possible, the only logical reason for taking extra blame would be due to a) emotions or b) another type of reward (i.e. money, fame, position, power, opportunity, etc.). If the reason were because of emotions, the only logical emotion that this would apply to is love or affection. Taking the blame away from a crush is selfish because even though it allows the crush to carry on without pain, it allows for laws, and by extension society, to be undermined. Taking the blame from a crush is also a good way of getting attention from them. Thus, it undermines society while getting attention. If the reason were because of another type of reward, it creates a state where the provider of the reward thinks that punishments can be paid off, leading to actions with more negative impacts, leading to corruption which harms many more people. Thus, in either case, omitting facts to take blame happens because people think that the reward for taking the blame is greater than the blame but teaches the offender that it is okay to break rules, and by extension laws; therefore, undermining our society. One of the more obviously selfish lies is the…

If you match four candies in a row then you get a striped candy which you then need to match, this gets rid of a whole column or row of candies. Matching five candies in a row produces a colour bomb.
