William Saroyan Research Paper

One of the most profound writer in United States and Armenia was William Saroyan, who left more than fifty writings to our generation and more than fifty writings unpublished.He was son of emigrant Armenak Saroyan. He was fourth child in his family and only one who was born in United States of America in 1908. He and his family had poor life, and it was very difficult for him as he was the youngest and breadwinner in his family. William left school at age fifteen and started reading and writing by himself.He starts his first writing in age nine, and most of his writings were based on his own childhood. William was known for such works as “My Name is Aram”, “My Heart’s in Highlands”, “Human Comedy”, and etc.William wrote “Why I Write?” where he talks about his father death and his fear to die.He and his cousin wrote a song “Come on a My Home” which was based on Armenian folk song, and it was a hit which was sang Rosemary Clooney.William’s wife was a famous artist, and they had two children. Daughter becomes an actresslike her mother, and son becomes a writer and poet like his father. Many people don’t know that William Saroyan was a great artist who has his spatial spiritual style like letters.William loved Armenia and United States of America, but his soul was Armenian.
