He mentions a correlation between aggressive behavior and video games. However, he fails to mention what exactly the correlation is. These “less serious forms of aggression” could be anything from competitiveness, which is a form of aggression that can come from just about anything where people are set against each other, to getting angry over something not going right, to which irritation and aggravation are natural reactions. This lack of clarification and basic use of vague terms loses the author credibility within the paper. Well-defined facts and use of statistics would easily restore the loss. The author offers a qualifier in the sense that he admits video games are one of the many, many factors that contribute to violence.
