Glynn does an excellent job keeping emotion from interfering with his writing because too much pathos would turn people away. However, his pathos does tread on the line of “way too little” which may make the reader question if Glynn has an opinion about the subject at all. The credibility in “Guns and Games” was scarce, this is one of the article’s greatest weaknesses because of Glynn’s unknown credentials to write about this subject. Also, the fact that Skeptic.com, a website devoted to discussing scientific anomalies, published a writing about gun violence leaves the audience with several never answered questions. The logic in this article was strong, but, it was not strong enough to compensate for the questionable motivation of the article “Guns and Games”. This author addressed this controversial topic relatively well, however, there are still several weak points in this article. “Guns and Games” would be unrivaled if the rhetorical element of ethos was improved
