Tough To Break Analysis

Justin, if you try to pay me for this, I'll kick your ass, lol. Consider this another huge thank you for allowing me to continue to work with your band. Love you boys! Xo

From the short amount of time I've worked with the amazing guys from Synergy of the Fallen, I've quickly learned so much. Justin, the guitarist and vocalist, is one of the best friends I've ever had the pleasure of having in my life. Jason, the bassist and vocalist, is one of the funniest people I've ever met, who cares for his friends and always watches my back. Jay, the drummer, absolutely kills me and never fails to have a beer in his hand.

I had the pleasure of guesting on stage with them for their

It's all about our pasts and how they have made a negative impact on our lives, but have made us stronger and more powerful as time goes by, and touches on people trying to act like they know us and what we've been through. Near the end, Tough to Break touches on the fact that our lives are what we make it, and that we can take hold of our futures and change whatever we wish.

Gone Not Forgotten

This song has touched my heart in many ways. Justin opened up to me about the real meaning behind this song, and the story that influenced it. During this conversation about the story behind Gone Not Forgotten and what influenced Justin to write it, my heart gravely went out to him, and I'm so happy I was able to understand this song and his feelings that were put into it.

I won't touch on the story behind it, considering it's not my story to share, but it's one that I will definitely never forget. This is truly an incredible song, all in all.

Smoke and Mirrors

This song is definitely relatable, considering it's about those horrendous people in our lives who try to mask who they really are, lie, and manipulate their way through life. I personally know probably close to a hundred of the people this song was written about, so once again, props to you,

There are many MESSAGES that an individual can analyze from “A Stroke of Insight”. For example, Jill speaks about how her spirit could “soar free” during her stroke and that she found nirvana. In addition, if Jill can find something positive in something as frightening as a stroke, we can find the positive in any situation. “Look what you’ve done by Drake” Ever since the first time I heard this song I’ve always felt so sad listening. Although he 's talking about his mother it had always spoke to me in a different way as if he was talking about an ex. But then I listened a little closer. The first time I heard this it was a summer night at my cousin 's house and we were all on our way to sleep and in the dark my cousin just plays the song I instantly fell in love with this song it was a legitimately touching tribute to his mother and uncle. This song is great at describing the people who shaped Drake for the man he is today.…

Rebecca McKenney History and Sociology of Rock Music Mrs. Trimble 1 October 2016 Critical Thinking #2 (13) “Frank Zappa once criticized singer songwriters for being too personal and too quick to dump their problems and feelings on their listeners who were already burdened with their own problems.” (Charlton) The widespread popularity of this style proved him wrong. American Noise The song American noise is a song by the Christian band known as Skillet. This song to me is an anthem for the young generation of our society who feel like outcasts.
