In the step one of this paper I will discuss different aspects of the assessment and how they relate to me on both a personal and professional level by using specific examples from both my personal and work life. In step two I will then discuss what I have learned over the course of the last five weeks and how I can use this assessment for personal and profession growth and development. Likewise, I value environments that support team collaboration, engagement, and an open door management policy. That is, one where I feel comfortable discussing concerns with my manager.
I also value change as I feel that it is important to always look for more effective and innovative ways to solve problems through continuous improvement projects. Per the personal inventory assessment, I scored as having a high level of comfort when dealing with change within an organization. I also ranked as having a moderate level of creativity. With this being said, I have room to grow in my efforts to contribute to a creative work environment. On the contrary, it is sometimes challenging to be creative in a legal career setting. Lastly, in coping with stress I ranked as having below average stress management skills. I scored highest in being able to find ways to eliminate stress but lowest in coping strategies. I agree with the assessment. At times I have a poor work-life balance. This eventually ends up creating more stress in my life. I also tend to work excessively towards a goal and not take adequate time to relax and enjoy activities that would reduce my stress

Jones and Butman (2012) argue that Christian counselors should stand on the fundamentals of the Christian faith. Even as counselors seek to understand the view of persons from other perspectives, their view of persons, identity, health, happiness, brokenness and psychopathology should be based on our Christian worldview. Jones and Butman contend that as Christian we need psychological theories to help broaden our understanding of persons, healing and growth. Thus, Christian counselors need to embrace an eclectic or pluralistic approach in understanding personality development, since no one approach offers a definitive understanding on persons. As noted in previous chapters, the different theories had their strengths, weaknesses, and compatibility and incompatibility with the Christian faith.…

I have to understand that there are people within the office that potentially may or will have differing personality characteristics than mine. By understanding and recognizing these differences I will be better suited to work with anyone in my organization. I tend to work well with anyone regardless, however I will be able to see what motivates my coworkers. If I am in a management role or the person in charge of a project I will be able to use personality differences to my advantage to where I can place employees where they are the strongest in order to help with team dynamics when we are forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning.…

Individuals and their personalities play a very key role in organizational behavior. In order for an organization to function at the highest level of productivity, managers must focus on empowering individuals in order to strengthen the group rather than enforcing autocratic leadership to force the individuals to serve the needs of the group. Managers themselves also need to know their own strengths and weaknesses based on their personality types as well as common strengths and weakness for personality types present in their employees. For instance, a people with an Introversion-iNuition-Feeling-Perception (INFP) personality type might be best motivated for the purpose of serving the well-being of others; however, these same INFP personality…
