Supporters of the bill believe this can mitigate the budget deficit. Moreover, it estimated that this year alone there is over four hundred in additional TIF funding is floating around. A concerted effort is being made by Senate Majority Leader Flynn Currie along with twenty-three co-sponsors including Mary E. Flowers, Arthur Turner, Elgie R. Sims Jr. to enact this bill.
