It is very important that teachers and parents have a collaborative relationship with one another. Other than Christ they both are representative of some of the most important people that children need to help build the foundations for their life. For the most part teacher and parents want the same thing and that is for the student to do well in areas of their life. Just as teachers should pray for their students they should do likewise for their parents. Especially in our society today when children have many different challenges. Also, communication is the key for this relationship to be successful. The teacher should keep the parents informed on the strengths, weaknesses, needs, and progress of their children. This way both the teachers and parents can work together to make sure that the children are doing the things that they need to do. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25, ESV). I think that this Scripture is appropriate because teachers and parents should stir up one another to love and good works because their children are representative of those good
