Whenever computers are mentioned in reference to “How to…” a funny story comes to mind. It happened when my parents bought my siblings and me a computer. We were all ecstatic about this amazing new toy, and for me it was my first time really using one. Several days after the computer was set up, I went to use it. I clicked the power button and nothing happened. I kept on clicking the Power button, after all it was a brand new computer and there was no way it could be broken already. Finally, I called my father and told him it’s not working. He responded, “You 're pressing the Eject button!” Fortunately, sending an email is not as complicated. However, when sending an email on Gmail they are antonyms. Sending an email with Gmail is simple and very convenient. Email is just one of the many different ways of communicating, yet one of the most popular. We can send a legal letter as an email, or an essay to a teacher. There are endless types of messages that we can send as an email, including pictures, videos, and songs. In order to get the process of sending email started, we must first get to Gmail. Gmail is the service that we use to send an email, and gmail.com is the website name for Gmail. For us to get there we have to click on our Internet Browser. Once the browser is open, we then click on the address bar, which is the blank field at the top of the internet browser. The address bar enables us to go to Gmail. Writing the email is probably the simplest step in sending an email. All we have to do is write. We can write whatever we want. As mentioned above there are countless types of message that we can write and send with Gmail. We can write anything we want from A to Z. Not only that, but we could also include Pictures, songs, videos, and documents in the email. This is an additional option that Gmail allows us to do. To do this, we go to the bottom of the email, where there are several different icons representing different items to attach, or send along with, the email. We just click on the icon we want, and Gmail directs us to find the exact picture, song, or whatever we want to include. This step enables us to send a picture to a friend, or a report to our boss without having to retype it on the email itself. After we write our email and include any attachments that we so choose, there is one last step. This last step is sending the email. In order to actually send the email, we click the Send button on the bottom left corner of the email. This has to be the last step. After the Send button is clicked the email is sent to the recipient within seconds. And that is the end of the process of sending an email on
