Nelson Mandela is South Africa's first black president and has only one goal and it’s to stop racism in South Africa. He was a member of the African National Congress party beginning in the 1940s, he was a leader of both peaceful protests against the white. In 1964 his actions landed him in prison for nearly three decades and made him the face of the anti apartheid movement both within his country and internationally. He was released in 1990 and he became South Africa’s first black president in 1994 and later he received a Nobel Peace Prize for his peacefulness and his effort for the country, also later he stopped racism and he was never forgotten. He decided to break two laws, the first one was leaving South Africa without permission and the …show more content…
As a dictator he made bad choices that made Cuba’s economy weak also he made an alliance with russia. In the early 2000s he was caught with an illness then he retired and gave power to his brother Raul castro. In 1960 when he was a politician who work with the president he took power of the government and became dictator of Cuba.This choice made the economy of Cuba weaker and it forced the Cuban government to take people's belongings.As a dictator Fidel Castro caused many problems one of the major ones is making an alliance with Russia this caused many problems in the world and Cuba. Such as forcing cuban government to take people's belongings making Fidel Castro hate the U.S and sending missiles. Fidel Castro is a confident and uncaring person, because before taking power he knew there will be consequences but he feared nothing. In 1975 Fidel Castro sent approximately 15,000 troops to Africa and 1,500 Russians were there so that proves that Russia and Cuba were working together. Fidel Castro is an strong and confident leader because he feared nothing when he sent troops to Africa he did not fear of problems. He is also a risk-taker because he tried something knew and he thought it will make things better. If Fidel Castro didn’t send troops to Africa then the relationship between Cuba and Russia would have been ruined because Cuba would have ignored Russia, because it was an order from the Russia for Cuba to send the troops. So if Fidel Castro made his own choice and not send troops to Angola,Africa then the world will think of Fidel Castro as a better person and Cubans would have appreciated that.
