Percy Jackson isn't a hero just because he is indestructible. He became a hero when he chose to search for his mom. Everyone told him it was dangerous to go to the underworld, but Percy would do whatever it took to save his mom. He fought the God of War, Ares, to do the right thing; he stopped another battle against the big three. Percy escaped camp to save his best friend, Grover.
