Montag had a regular schedule just as any plain old person in the town. Montags wife overdosed on sleeping pills which was sad for Montag.Then Montag meets a girl named Clarisse and his outlook on things began to change. When he meets her Clarisse she questions Montag's life whether he is happy or not. Montag is a good man and loyal to his job at the firehouse.
Montag changes when he meets Clarisse she was sorta of a outcast.She asked Montag questions about his job if he was happy etc. She changes his perspective on books and the world it made him think. Montag went to a old English professor named Feber. Then they both start talking about making copies of the books. That's what gets him in trouble is the copies of the books, At first him and Feber were off to a bad start but sooner they became friends. His wife told the fireman that he had books in the house. So when they were on there way to the his house he had no clue it was his. When they got there he was amazed. Then he got chased by the mechanical hound then he ran into the river and the hound lost Montag's scent. When he ran from town he hit the woods and saw a light and ended up meeting other readers. As he was sitting there he was watching on tv “himself” die. But the police covered up that they lost his scent and his trial so they used a different person to use as him. Then they all hear the bomb and they turn back because the people might need their knowledge
