Ray Bradbury is one of the greatest dystopian authors. His every novel in its own way is a unique masterpiece. Amongst number of novels that Ray Bradbury has written he is best known for ‘Fahrenheit 451’. He is regarded as one of the best authors that 21st century has seen. “Martian Chronicles” and “Something wicked this way” are few of his creations. Infact,the whole story revolves around this primary idea. Guy Montag the protagonist of strong seems to be in search of his own identity. In the beginning of the story he seems to enjoy his life as fireman. He was of a thought that working as a fireman. He was serving the society, as on burning the books he was promoting ignorance amongst the society and thereby creating a sense of equality. But very soon he realized that he was unhappy with his profession and his life and this was time when he started questioning himself about his own identity.
