Gun Control?
Every year thousands of people across this nation die from evil people with guns. People in positions of government have tried to come up with solutions for this problem. But no real action has been taken to solve this problem. Gun control is not constitutional and will not save these thousands of deaths because the evil men and woman that kill these people will always find ways to get illegal guns or weapons, if they took away guns that would lead to much power to the government and it is the second amendment right to own guns. For instance, the Paris attacks is a very sad example of the truth, that no matter how many limitations you put on gun control, very evil people can find a way to take advantage of law abiding citizens… …show more content…
For prove one of the first laws hitler did after becoming president was banning guns. Now that guns were banned he could easily take the Jews into custody and do the evil thing he did. Hitler is living proof that this can happen. For example the NRA's Wayne LaPierre stated, "if you look at why our Founding Fathers put it [the Second Amendment] there, they had lived under the tyranny of King George and they wanted to make sure that these free people in this new country would never be subjugated again and have to live under tyranny." This quote states this issue, and if guns are truly removed people would have no power against the government. If you disagree with the constitution you disagree with founding fathers that created America on the foundation of these laws. This constitution was made to protect the people of any threats possible. Now the other side to the argument say that back then it was not possible to go into public and kill people because they didn’t have large magazines and automatic fire. But the founding father were smart and understood that guns would advanced. Here is a quote from abraham lincoln the 16 president of the USA “Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties” Honest abe is one of the best presidents in the history of our nation, and he clearly states that the constitution was made for a reason and should not be changed. In conclusion the founding fathers were really smart and understood what will happen, that guns will advance. The constitution was made like it was for a reason and the right to bear arms is one of the most import laws made.
