I got into the airport around 1:30 PM; I pulled my baggage and walked to the American Airline checking in station. Then, the gift shop was my next stop, I bought “dulces” and few bottle of Barcelo Ron, (dessert and Barcelo Ron) as well as little thigs for the family members that live in the United States. In my walk, there was a pounded toasted coffee smell; it reminded me, when my dad harvested and toasted coffee in the afternoons; he crushed coffee in a pestle. This why I recognized the smell of the toasted coffee. After, I continued my walk; this is when many swallow birds flew around the airport.

Yes, this was my fly number. I was very excited to fly for the first time and to get into the United States, “El paiz de as maravillas” (the wonderland), as the Hispanic population calls it.
