Surface problem: The surface problem that is currently faced by Green Horizon is whether the CEO of the company, Ram, should hire back Hari Shukla a previous employee who left on bad terms.

Ensuring that he cannot leave with Green Horizon’s information, clients or other employees will reassure Ram that he made the correct decision with hiring him back. The benefits of hiring him back also include a potential international expansion and increased talent pool for Green Horizon. Hari could bring new information with him and techniques that could further grow Green Horizon. If Hari fails this probationary period and has signed the non-compete, Green Horizon can return to how things currently were without having lost a great deal. Additionally, the root problem of the organization’s inability to compete with large organizations may be solved by adjusting finances to provide employee incentives. Using programs that reward employees with travel or bonuses for innovation, advancement or excellence will allow them to compete with larger organizations. Less employees will strive to leave the
