The first question I asked was how long she’s been involved with Union Street Downtown Farmer’s Market. She said that she’s been involved with Cathleen, who manages the Gourmet Muffins, for about 6 months. My next question was how she thought the market has changed over time. She said that during the summer the farmers market is rather slow and not a lot of people but over the fall there is double the customers. She also said that she meets a lot of the snowbirds that come down for the winter. My third question was what benefits do people get from shopping at the market as a food resource. She said that she’s been with the Farmer’s Market ever since February 2015 so roughly about seven months. The next question was if she’s seen a change in the market over time. She said that business varies but the farmers has been pretty much the same. My third question was how she thinks the market affects the local economy. She said that its good for the local businesses because it keeps the money in the community aspect. My final question was what things might people find at the market that they can’t find in other food stores. She said that people can find handmade stuff at the farmer’s market. She also mentioned that people can’t find a guy slicing fresh coconuts anywhere else. overall she said that the fresh produces were what people would have a hard time finding anywhere
