Criminal Justice Career Analysis

There are always events or experiences in a person’s life that influences the decsions they make in their lives. Whether these decisions are good or bad every decision has consequences.
It has been some time ago that I worked as a dentention deputy at our local justice center here in
Sterling, Colorado. I was so excited I had finally landed a job that I could utitlize my college degree which emphasized the criminal justice and/or law enforcement fields. Finally, all the blood, sweat, and tears that were shed werent for nothing! By becoming a detention deputy, I was ready to serve my community and aim for the top. I knew I wanted to be the best of the best.

I pled gulity to the crimes that were charged against me and took all the many cosequences related to them.
With all this said it brings to mind the question at hand: describe an event or an experience in your life that will influence your academic work and goals at Colorado Christian University.
This described event that took place at the justice center and the experiences I continue to deal has led me to explore different avenues.I still want to persue a career within the criminal justice and/or law enforcement fields as it continues to interest me trememendously. So, with this said it was time to establish a plan and put it into action, but not just any plan—a regroup and recovery plan. By attending CCU I feel I am on the right track to reach my goals on a personal and professional level. Sure, it will once again take blood, sweat and tears but it will be worth it in the end. I can’t continue to look back and see all the negative outcomes I have had to endure, but instead look forward to my future. I know I will be able to achieve greatness and excellence by meeting academic goals that will go above and beyond when returning to the criminal

Janet only had 1 afternoon court session to attend this week so in the meantime I sat in on a sentencing case with my fellow intern and her advocate. This was a really great experience for me because I was able to see first-hand how involved the VWU advocates get with the victim and their family.
