Police Officer Career

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to become a Police Officer. I love helping others and working for the community. To start off my career I worked for The Public Safety office in my home town. That confirmed why I choose this career. My short term goal was to become a Deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department. In 1995 I was accepted into the Police academy. The training was mentally and physically exhausting, but I knew it was worth it to accomplish my goal.

After graduating the police academy I was placed in the Los Angeles County jail system for additional training. That helped me to learn how to handle people from all walks of life. My long term goal is to become a Captain at one of the many police
