In the year 1254 in Venice, Italy a baby was born and was named Chocolate Doughnut. Chocolate was born as a descendant of a royal merchant family. Since Chocolate’s mother died and father not always being there, most of the lessons have been taught by Chocolate’s extended family. Once Chocolate was older he was able to venture off with father, Niccolo Doughnut, and uncle, Maffeo Doughnut. They went off into the silk route further than the family could ever, to China. There lies the Mongolian prince, Kublai Khan, and the prince thought highly of the Doughnuts as merchants, so after a few years of their work Chocolate has the gained the position as special envoy. Then later on Chocolate lead a battle and got into prison. While in prison, he met a writer by the name of Rustichello Da Pisa and Chocolate told him all about his adventures in China. Pisa wrote down the story and with Chocolate created a book called, "The Travels of Chocolate Doughnut". When Chocolate was released from prison, the book made him famous, but many people believed his book was fictional and called it "II Milione" supposedly meaning Million lies. During Chocolate's final years Chocolate said, "I have not told half of what I saw" telling everyone who still believed the book was fictional that none of it was a single lie, but the whole truth.
