Audio Engineering
What I already know about this Topic?
Ever since I was little, I have enjoyed making melodies. I used to take my mom’s pans from the kitchen and a pair of spoons to create annoying beats, but to me they were very enjoyable and impressive! My passion for music really came to life when I was about 14-15 years old. I realized that I had a different type of connection with music. Listening to music reflected on my moods and I always preferred upbeat music because it kept it in a pleasant mood. Of course, being a teenager, I also fell in love with the lifestyle of the musicians. I started watching YouTube videos on their day to day activities. While all of this was going on, I became very curious as to how music is created. After

I am however not so sure on which school to attend to get my credentials. I want to learn more about the lifestyle of audio engineers. I also want to know about the salary and where audio engineering stands in today 's society. Will I be able to financially support myself and my family?. I have a lot of questions that come to my mind and I am not sure on which path to take.

Everything I have learned so far is based on my own hands on experiments or the YouTube tutorials. In order to take this passion to the next level, I also have to find out the costs of education and weather the field of audio engineering itself is worthy enough for the long term student debt.
I want to possibly conduct an interview with an Audio engineer and find out exactly if this field would be a good fit for me. I am currently working two part-time jobs and they are both paying me minimum wage so I definitely want to be able to get my credentials as soon as possible and then work in the field I am really passionate about. During the past few months, I have constantly been thinking about my future and how badly I just want to move forward in life. I personally want to be in this field but my research will specify my

Have you ever wondered why a song became so popular? Or why you always happened to get that one song stuck in your head? Well, those questions have been answered by Robert Jourdain in his nonfiction book Music, the Brain, and Ecstasy. Jourdain begins his book with the simplest aspect of sound, the first puzzle piece of how music became a worldwide sensation that can be seen in basically every culture on Earth. The moment I decided to join the band was in elementary school when our class went to watch the middle school band play their Christmas concert. Although several of my friends had told me that classical music was dull and only useful for putting others to sleep, I loved listening to it. I would try to figure out what instruments were played and their individual part. I was glad to be able to listen to a live band without the need of speakers or headphones.…

Music is a fundamental part of my being and has always been in my life. Remembering songs my grandparents sang to me such as “You are my Sunshine” or recalling stories my mother would tell about me, like the time I performed for a whole restaurant at the age of three are alway the first memories to be dug out of my mind. If someone has not already thought of this, they most likely will because the majority of people have to have serious questions based upon what they want to make a career out of. However, some people have always known what they feel passionate about and can make a career out of.
