My 8th-grade experience at High Meadows.
Eighth grade was one of my most chaotic in a well-balanced way yet, the best year of my school life, I had issues and stress during 8th grade, but I also had ambition and desire to finish it. I decided to sign up for the field trip to High Meadows, some people were grumpy that it was the same exact field trip destination as last year. I did not mind of course because this is probably the last time I see that place. In short, every field trip or vacation had it’s ups and downs. It wasn't bad was that I got to ride on the coach bus, I got to play laser tag and other forms of entertainment , the food (everyone loves the smell of food) and last but definitely not the least, the ride home. Firstly, I had to get on the coach bus and waiting. The coach bus was parked with right next to the sidewalk, so when I walked out it was parked straight ahead of me. I unzipped my backpack to triple check my backpack to make sure that I had my things ready so I wouldn’t have a mental breakdown. Meanwhile, as I walked into the coach bus I noticed that the AC was on, a great start, otherwise, I would have had a heat stroke . After I got on the bus, everyone had to choose our permanent seats and wait, I pulled out my phone and started to listening to music and looking out the scenery , mostly it was trees and roads , other than that , I talked to my friends , we all were getting pumped for High Meadows. At some point, I took a nap on the bus, however, it did not last long because the girls in the back started to singing very loud, so I couldn’t doze off bummer. In due time, our bus turned to a narrow road with rocks and pebbles and I hear the sound of the heavy sounds of the rocks hitting the wheels then stopping, I turned a looked sign that says HIGH MEADOWS. There, I got off the bus and walked down to the road where I saw hundreds , maybe dozens of kids walking around with towels, cups, and backpacks. Straightway, I heard a loud yell that there-there was a whip cream eating the competition. As I head towards the table , eleven kids were already seated, some I recognized were my friends, others I don’t. I remember that the rules are that whoever eats it cannot use their hands , where they have their hands behind their backs , and the first one to finish the plate have to put your hands on the plate and lift it and say “High Meadows is Awesome!”. You receive a prize for winning. Furthermore, I went

Inside the food court, the air was filled with the smells of delicious chowder, coffee , hot dogs and cheeseburgers and the hot heat coming from the grill. I chose both hot dogs and cheeseburgers and poured some ketchup on both the cheeseburger and hot dog. Of course , I accidentally knocked over my juice cup on the ground when I tried to reach for the chip bowl, thankfully nobody noticed the sound of the cup hitting the floor and nobody saw it. I hurried away to a table and sat down to eat my food and not paying attention to the spill I

Freedom Middle School needs some changes. The dress code is undeniably unfair. Especially for the women of this school. It is important to change the dress code because shoulders aren’t distracting, no one pays attention to thighs, and there are more things to worry about rather than seeing a bra strap. First off, off the shoulder shirts aren’t all that.…
