JENISON INVITATIONAL

Yawn!!!! I said in a tired voice when I woke up, I was tired!

It was about 5:00 in the morning I was so tired. I was as warm as a glass of hot cocoa. There were 5 blankets on me and pillows all over me.

My mom blurted out “you have to get up or you are going to miss the competition”! I dragged myself out of bed and started to get ready for the day. I brushed my teeth and hair and got dressed into my pom uniform. I had some froot loops and a glass of water. Once I had some breakfast I started to pack my stuff for the day. I packed red lipstick, my pom poms, hip hop uniform, jazz shoes, my spongebob pillow pet, a blanket, and a water bottle.

Then we were off to Jenison! The ride was about a hour-half drive. Then we saw the sign welcome to jenison, I was getting nervous. we got to the Jenison high school and we got our bags and went inside.

Once we got in the locker room we signed in and put me and my sisters stuff in a locker. I said Hi to the coaches and then I started to get ready. I put lipstick ,foundation ,blush , and mascara.

After we did our makeup we started to practice or routine. Sometimes we would do it with the music or sometimes coach steph counts. after we did some practicing for a little bit we had a break, we got a snack and some

For my second reading observation I want to start off by changing my introduction of Jaelee. I had a chance to meet and talk to Jaelee’s mother for the first time and found out the information Jaelee’s father had provided me was incorrect. Jaelee is not diagnosed with A.D.H.D the doctors that have seen her feel that there is a big possibility she might have A.D.H.D. but have not diagnosed her with the disorder. Her mother told me that when Jaelee was three years old she was diagnosed with having O.D.D which stands for Oppositional defiant disorder. Oppositional defiant disorder is a pattern of angry/irritable mood, argumentative/defiant behavior or vindictiveness towards authority figures.…

The Journey of Packers Training Camp As I pull in the parking lot of Ray Nitschke Field, I am thinking of where I am going to set my stuff up and stay there. I am also thinking of the main guys that I want to get. It isn't a easy process, especially sitting in 85-90 degree weather for two and a half hours, outside not doing anything besides waiting for the buzzer to blow, allowing the packers to come out off the practice field. It is a great day to watch a Packer practice, and I get my stuff ready for autographs.…

For all my life, I have had a fascination with the human body and how it works. It truly is incredible how our bodies function on a day to day basis. What truly amazes me is when we push our bodies to its limits playing a sport. Sports are a huge deal in today's society-we are taught at very young ages to push and excel at your sport. Even just the sense of belonging you feel with a team involves health.…
