What do normal bowel sounds supposed to sound like?

Normal bowel sounds are high pitched with gurgling, rumbling, growling.Abnormal includes hypoactive and absent. Hypoactive indicates that intestinal activity has slowed down. Absentbowel sounds can occur after surgery.Hyperactive bowl sounds loud high pitched sounds rushing, tickling sounds that signal increased motility.
