Intimate partner violence is a serious, preventable, public health problem that affects millions of people. The term IPV describe physical, sexual, or psychological harm by a current or former partner or spouse. It is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, gender, status, race, religion, nationality, or education background. |
