As a college student, I volunteered and worked with the Red Cross, Big Brother Big Sister of Savannah, Lighthouse Project, NAACP, and Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance Minority Participation (PSLSAMP) and became a health educator at Savannah State University. After six months of working, I became employee of the month and was offered a supervisory position shortly after due to my empathy towards customers, customer service skills and ability to achieve a high record of acuity.
