Dan groaned and left the kitchen, knowing that if he didn’t comply, Tyler would drag his ass back to the party, which would probably cause an enormous scene. “So… What next?” PJ asked, smiling. “Oh! I know, we should do New Year's Resolutions!” Louise exclaimed, clapping her hands together excitedly. Phil smiled and nodded as he got up to go get note cards from his and Dan’s office. Five minutes later, he came back carrying a package of index cards and a handful of multi-colored pens. “At my house, we used to sit at a table and write down our resolutions on note cards and then say them out loud afterwards. So I was thinking we could do that now,” Phil smiled and handed out the index cards and pens before going and grabbing a seat at the kitchen table. Everyone got quickly to work, Dan noticed, yet he couldn’t think of a single thing. He eyed the guests, noticing each of their little mannerisms. He noticed Tyler giggling to himself in the corner of his eye while he was writing. Dan then turned to look at Phil, who was writing rather quickly. His curiosity grew as Phil smiled a tiny bit to himself. What could he possibly have…
There needs to be a resolution revolution! The time has come, we must stop making promises in the flesh, we cannot keep. We must start seeking God on what pleases Him, and find out what His will for our lives is. We can proclaim all day and night that we are going to lose more weight, stop addictions, stop gossiping less, or find a mate. In truth, we can do none of those things in the flesh, which is why our New Year 's resolutions tend to fail. Its the same every year, WE make a plan for…

It also happened to be one of Dillard’s most prize possessions because of the competitive advantage it gave them compared to other retail stores at the time. During orientation we were shown how and when to use the different avenues that this system presented. December 24th isn’t just Christmas Eve, it’s also National Egg Nog Day. It is a beverage severed around the holiday season, it can usually be found on store shelfs a little before Thanksgiving but only is available until New Years. with them on a farm, my small, silent family, they were some of the only people I truly knew. The same faces I saw every day at my school were not the people I truly bonded with. It was my brother, my father, and my mother. I could almost hear the slow wind outside. It reminded me I was to go away so soon. I looked at those around me. I realized they were not silent because of embarrassment or not knowing what to say, but rather because they knew exactly what to say. That became my…
The contract explains what is expected of the students when there is a conflict between them and another student. There are three steps the students take when finding a resolution to the conflict. The first step is stop (calm down), the second step is slow down (agree to solve the problem), and the third step is go (problem solve). The stop light in the classroom is a visual reminder. . I think it is important for students to know at the beginning of the school year how conflicts will be…
