What was the Dieppe Raid?

The battle between the allies and the axis powers. Troops were asked to raid Germany in Dieppe to see how Germany fought. Canadian troops were unsuccessful because they were unprepared, and their tanks were not suited for the beach.

What was the Italian Campaign?

When Mussolini was overthrown. The battle of Ortona was the most significant battle in the Italian Campaign. It was successful, and the allies freed Italy.

What was the Battle of Normandy?

Held in France to free it from the Germans. Germany was unprepared because it looked like the allies were going to attack the english channel but instead attacked Normandy. It was successful

Canada liberated the Dutch from the Nazi forces and were successful.

The battle between Japan and China and the Battle of America and Japan. During the battle in the pacific, America dropped atomic bombs on Japan because of their attack on Pearl Harbor.
