1) Death of applicant prior to season of use 2) unknown duplication of specific issue 3) permit issued in error by dept. 4) armed forces personnel experiencing a change of duty station prior to first day of season, preventing use of permit 5) by direction of a court order or at the direction of a prosecuting attorney.

How must one transport deer and elk with an antlerless only permit? |
With visible sex organs naturally attached to the carcass or a quartered portion of the carcass. |

What exceptions allow a hunter to transport deer, elk, or spring turkeys without evidence of sex? |
Hunters that bone out the meat in the field, use an e-tag or the voluntary option that allows hunters to register their harvested deer, elk, or spring turkey through the internet, using photos taken at the harvest site. This is not a telephone check system, and is only required if you want to transport deer or elk taken with antlerless only permit w/o head attached or a spring turkey w/o beard attached to breast. Once hunter has photographs necessary for registration later or confirmation number obtained over internet, hunter may then transport carcass w/o evidence of sex. |

Assistance to big game permit holders; What qualifications must a person meet in order to obtain a permit to designate someone else to take a legal limit of game for the permit holder? |
Any person with a permanent physical or visual disability that prevents the person from hunting safely, as certified by a physician. This must be a permit holder who is, because of disability, unable to pursue a wounded game animal. They may designate any individual to assist in pursuing and dispatching an animal wounded by the disabled permit holder. |

Must hunters have a deer permit that allows the taking of an antlered deer before acquiring an antlerless deer permit? |
Yes, except after December 30th, an antlered permit is no longer required to purchase antlerless permits, which is available over the counter through January 31st, 2021. |
