A measure of one's social standing obtained by combining factors such as education, income, and occupation.

People no mater their economic status, who uphold traditional values, especial against the counterculture of the 1960s.

Catholic families are more liberal economically than protestants, and Jewish families are more liberal on both economic an social issues than families of either Catholics or Protestants.
