Philosophy of Work Work philosophies can differ from person to person and there are various definitions of work philosophy. For most people their work philosophy includes working hard and working to improve their quality of life. This includes being ready to work once you arrive at your place of work, working to the best of your ability, wanting to improve your work efficiency and gain a higher position in your job. A person’s work philosophy can also change based on whether you find your work pleasing and if it fills your sense of purpose. Sometimes the justification is for financial reasons and because it’s not a permanent situation, other times there is no reasonable justification which is a good indication that job is not fulfilling. Finding a fulfilling job is important because it can affect your attitude which can put a strain on your relationships within and outside of your job, it can cause unnecessary stress and decrease your general happiness. For example, a person in a stressful job can have a sour attitude after work and the next friend or relative they talk to could be yelled at and then an unnecessary problem has just been created. An important aspect of my own work philosophy is to be constantly working. If I see something that needs to be done and I am capable of doing it, I will. For example, if I see a certain area needs to be swept, I will sweep it instead of waiting for one of my managers telling me to sweep. Another aspect of my philosophy of work is that I am ready when I get to work and that I am there at least 10 minutes

It is a result of employee's perception how well their jobs provide those things which are viewed important by them. Secondly, it is determined by how well the outcomes meet or exceed expectations. If the employees feel that they are working harder but not getting equitable rewards then they will develop negative attitude towards the work and organization.…
