Work Ethic
Work ethic is defined by Dictionary.com as a belief in the moral benefit and importance of work and its inherent ability to strengthen character. The decision to have a good work ethic starts with the want to succeed and reach a goal. One’s attitude and mindset determine everything when having a good work ethic. The amount of exertion along with the value of quality will decide how far a person will go in achieving their goal. Developing a strong work ethic to achieve one’s goal takes something special that not everyone is willing to do.
When a person wants to achieve a goal they must have a good work ethic. Work ethic comes from the heart. Work ethic is something that a person must dig deep down within their self to get out. One has to dedicate everything in to working hard to fulfill their goal. Work ethic is not an every now and then thing. One must stay consistent and work at accomplishing their goal on an every day basis. There will be roadblocks and adversity on the way to achieving the goal that is set. One must fight through the adversity; and when others quit, take that opportunity to get a step ahead. …show more content…
“There is only one thing you constantly have the freedom to choose on an everyday basis and that is your attitude.” To have a good work ethic one must have a good attitude and the right mindset to succeed. Not everyone is willing to do what it takes to succeed; one must change the way they think to get through anything that steps in the way. No matter what the conditions are, or how hard the work might get; the mindset to succeed cannot change. Changing the way a person thinks may be difficult but that person must learn to be accountable, responsible, reliable, disciplined, and give a relentless amount of effort. These characteristics will help one on their way towards
