The question of why do woodworkers not make much money ,and how can it be fixed, is asked throughout the profession. Can woodworking be turned into a full time job? Most people say yes you can make money in carpentry, but woodworking and carpentry are different in many ways. What needs to be done in order to make woodworking a full time job?

Carpentry is more of a commercial business. Building houses and installing cabinets are some of the things that carpenders see in daily work. Carpenters and woodworkers have to work together in a lot of circumstances. It is also difficult to make much money doing it. Therefore most people think it is impossible to turn woodworking into a full time job. Although woodworking is as much of a full time job for retirees,not so much for people who are still in the workforce. There are a few things that must happen before woodworking can become your full time job. One is you must have a market for your goods. Without a market for your goods, there is no point in trying to sell your work. It all goes back to time management and spending more money than your making.
