When I first entered high school, I was terrified, but a little excited. The idea of being surrounded by a bunch of strangers, and being in a new environment made me tremble. When my first day of high school finally came, I realized that it was a much different experience than I expected. There were no teachers really guiding you around, the only person you could depend on was yourself. I learned that more and more everyday.…
As you start your freshman year the possibility of being a senior and graduating seems far away in the distant future. The reality of it is exactly the opposite! It goes by faster than the blink of an eye. In order to make your high school experience a positive one I recommend that you get involved. Find a sport, a club or an activity that you will enjoy. Just take part, have fun and be a part of the school spirit.…
Being the first child in my immediate family to actually attend college, I plan on a rewarding and prosperous future with no limits. My future consist of attending Georgia Tech, and experience what college is like while receiving my bachelor's as well as master's degree in Aerospace Engineering. I will take internships at some Aerospace Engineering companies to be exposed to what to expect in my career field. I also plan on attaining my pilots license while at Georgia Tech through the YJFC to help me in my career field. After I complete my academic career and am satisfied I will apply for jobs at esteemed companies such as, Boeing, Space X, and NASA.…
A reason why I would want to go to college would because it would help get me to places I want to be in life such as helping me get a good paying job or th position I would want. Another reason why I want to go to college would also be because I want to see what it is like to attend a college and at least try it out. While in college I hope to work part time to earn some sort of income as well but if I am going to be working it is only going to be a short term job till I earn the degree I would need and land a job as either a preschool or daycare assistant. I chose to become a preschool teacher/ daycare assistant because I love working with kids and feel like I would have the things I would need to qualify me in becoming those things such…
I always wanted a positive life so finding an outstanding school was a priority for me. I began my research, with “the top business school for finance undergraduates.” The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University emerged as the best choice for me. For many years, I had an interest in math in which I chose finance.…
I go to college after high school because I want to live independently. Before we become a college student, we do anything rely on our parents. But college life is totally different than high school life. As we know most of the college students will leave their home due to studying. Besides studying, the most important problem they face is living by themselves.…
On a particularly sunny morning in Washington, Mr. Charbonnel, sipping on a mug of tea over skype, answered my question regarding his choice in university. He gave me two separate answers to my questions. The first answer being the one he gave to his family and friends, “I wanted to go to school with my sister so I applied to Washington State!”. But after a moment’s chuckle he responded, “The actual reason why I choose Washington State over any other school was that I had procrastinated all first semester, and it was the only school that was actually still taking applicants.”. Having known Mr. Brandon Charbonnel most of my life, once as a teacher now as a friend and a somewhat of a role model, I was satisfied with the second answer he had…
But maybe I will meet some new kids and I can walk to class with them. Right now, in 8th grade, my entire class moves from classroom to classroom together because of the very small size of my school. Nevertheless, high school will be another new adventure and challenge, and new things are good to experience, at least most of the time. My favorite thing about middle school is the technology program and the Field Activity Program (F.A.P.).…
Since my middle school journey is coming to an end, I am getting excited to be going to the high school. I am going to be the little kid that gets lost and that is new. Similarly, I am currently the older kid but now in high school, I will be the younger kid. I disfavor that every time you become the sizable kid, you then become the new kid. There will be new things for me to try out and more clubs to join and I will get more freedom than in middle school; I dislike that I will be the new kid in the school.…

In order for me to become a lawyer, I first have to graduate high school which will be in the year 2018. In order for me to graduate high school I need at least 24 credits. The reason that I’m here for CBK now is so I can work towards my high school diploma. I struggled in school a lot, which led me to not getting enough credits to graduate. I know that I’m better than that, and I want to go to college so that I can start working towards my career in life which is being an elementary school teacher. I started CBK when I was eighteen and I ended up leaving the program because, I was lazy and didn’t take school seriously.…
Incoming Freshman at Gonzaga Prep I am looking forward to attending high school. All the movies make it seem so scary to go to high school, but I am excited and a bit nervous. I have many friends that either have attended or attend Gonzaga Prep and came out loving their experience and I hope I can too. I was definitely scared the first day of school because who is it a little nervous on the first day? Although Gonzaga Prep will be more challenging than the previous schools I went to.…
