Why I love my grandma so much
My grandma is a very important person in my life. She is very loving and caring to everybody. She is the type of person that will “crack you up” every time she talks about something. I just can’t imagine how my life would be if she wasn’t around. She is such an inspiration to me and I’m so proud to be able to have her as my grandma. As the days passed by I started to appreciate her more and more every day. I’m so thankful for all the things she has teached me and done for me. She has taking good care of me and my siblings. The best advice always comes from her. She tells me what consequences my decisions can have. No matter what the situation is that I struggle with, she always finds a way to solve them.
I remember when I was a little baby that my mom brought me to my grandma’s house and she was tired that she just left me at a big comfy bed. I really was wondering around like “where am I?” and my mom told her “tenga” which means “here you go” since she was going to work that day. My mom seemed pretty stressed out from too much work. I knew she was just playing around just to hear what my reaction would be. That day came eventually and I remember seeing luggage all over her bed and clothes neatly packed. As she left we all started saying our “goodbyes” and as she told me “voy a regresar” (I’ll be back) I couldn 't contain my tears anymore. I had to let them out and I cried. It was hard to not cry in front of her because she was so happy to visit her other grandchildren. I just knew I was being selfish and I just had to get over it. I gave her the tightest hug and I just did not want her to leave. But she did. I just had to face the fact that it happens and sometimes things like that just make us braver. We have to just suck it up and move one hoping that one day it will be
