Have you ever had a fantasy so big that you believed it was completely impossible? Have you ever wanted something so badly that you would be willing to give something up in return? I can explain… I’m an eighteen-year-old pop singer and actress. Ever since I was a little girl, all I ever wanted was to be famous. I dreamt of having my own television show and performing in front of thousands of people. I began taking singing lessons when I was about eight years old. Additionally, I have been in all of my school’s plays since the second grade. I guess I have just always had a love for the spotlight and a passion for theatre.

Most people assume that fame and fortune are the keys to happiness, but I strongly disagree. If I had one wish, I would ask for a do-over. My family and I went on vacation to Los Angeles, California. I was eager to visit the famous grounds of Hollywood. To be honest, I was jealous of the actors and actresses living the life. I thought they had it all… the houses, the cars, the parties, and the most perfect job in existence. I dreamt of seeing my name embedded on a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “It’ll happen, someday”, I whispered to myself over and over again.
