This is a story about a team of crayons to who learn how to get along with each other. The book starts with a girl who buys a box of crayons that do not get along. The girl began to draw a picture using all of the crayons. As she draws that picture the crayons begin to realize that when they work together, they can create a work of art. Each crayon had a special purpose. Public school and Christian school teachers alike can use this book to teach uniqueness and how even though we are all different we can use our different abilities together to work as a team and create something amazing.

This book allows students to interact with the silly pigeon and not let the pigeon drive the bus. The pigeon persists and persists but the readers, hopefully, won’t let the pigeon do it. This is a great book to help students with discipline and can make it a fun way to learn how to listen to the rules. World On A String by Larry Phifer and illustrated by Danny Popovici is a picture book about a boy who befriends a red balloon. One day the main character, Charlie, found a balloon deep in the forest. He played with it and took it everywhere he went, even the people in town thought it was the most beautiful balloon. He put it on a string, he bathed it, hugged it and put it to bed. The balloon became loved by Charlie. Then one night a storm came and Charlie was in for a surprise. This book is an excellent way to help children who may be going through a loss. It is also a great way to help children understand God and that just because they can’t see something doesn’t mean it isn’t
