The San Diego hope for humanity (SDHH) mission is to provide underprivileged children, youths, adults, homeless, runaway, and foster youths the support to San Diego County.
The San Diego hope for humanity was founded in August, 2004.
- 2004: Established case management, homeless feeding, supply services,
- 2005: Added after-special event program.
- 2007: Developed partnership with the other nonprofit organizations and establish community services program

Activities: - PCI’s Case Management program will connect families to community resources, using existing relationships case managers have with community programs. Case managers will help homeless achieve specific goals to overcome barriers. Case managers will contact homeless population once a week to personally help them connect with community resources. – San Diego hope for humanity case management staff also help writing resume for the homeless, address the needs of children in their care. They help these underprivileged understand school and court requirements, and connect to community resources such as drug classes, health issues and permanent housing. - A six week drug and alcoholic class will cover topics such as managing stress and conflict, child development, anger management, and interpersonal relationships. Most homeless will be referred to the program because they had a prior incident of child abuse or neglect, or are determined to be at-risk for abuse/neglect. School Success (Goal 2) Goal 2 (School Success): San Diego hope for humanity will support youth success in academics, peer and family relationships, and avoiding drugs, alcohol, and contacts with law enforcement.
