Victoria's Secret currently has no give back programs, however I believe they should provide one that provides their lingerie to women getting back into the workforce. Women across america are looking for jobs, however are unable to get them without the proper attire. They won’t be taken seriously and won’t be hired. Dress for success is a program that donates professional working attire to women in need. Victoria Secret should donate their bras and underwear to Dress for Success to support women. With the proper size bra and the right underwear for a granmet makes an outfit look better. Victoria Secrets target customer is women in their late teens to 40s. That age range is also the target for dress for success because that is the age women desperately need jobs to support …show more content…
This would promote the seamless underwear for the company and it would be functional for the outfits that dress for success gives. Customers can engage in deals like five for $26 and that will donate a pair of seamless underwear to Dress for success. Not only can they donate underwear but they can donate bras. Their deal for two bras for $42 could be combined with an underwear and with a $50 purchase a bra would be donated to Dress for Success. These deals that Victoria Secret uses to attract customers into the store like the bra and pantie bundling will be rewarded by donations to the foundation.
What makes this possible is the sustainability of the seamless panties is how inexpensive it cost it is for manufacturing. The average cost for panties is around three dollars, which makes more sustainable to donate. The average bra is made up by 50-75% depending on how big the company is and how hard the bra is to manufacture.
