Thomas Jefferson is one of the most recognizable Americans. He wrote the Declaration of Independence, served as President as well as Vice president. Some unknown things about Jefferson would be that he was the 3rd of 10 children. His family was fairly wealthy, and also had many slaves. During his young adult life, he began to pursue legal studies, and also get involved into politics. He also went to the College of William and Mary. This helped educate him into the knowledgeable man that everyone knows. Thomas Jefferson went down as a well educated, studious, and determined American hero. Thomas jefferson was well educated. This is mostly because of the family he was born into. His father was very wealthy, and owned slaves. After his father died, he mostly made his decisions on his own. He read books, he learned about politics, and law, and he also went to The College of William and Mary. At the time, only wealthy people could afford to go to college, and thanks to his father, he had the money to pay for it. His interest in law and politics helped involve him in the development of the United States of America.

And lastly, he never gave up on his beliefs, as shown when the national bank was in the process of being formed. He argued and argued that it was a bad idea, and that it was unconstitutional. And even after it was formed, he still didn’t give up on his beliefs. Because of all of this, Thomas Jefferson is one of the most recognizable americans that helped shape this country into what it is
