There Will Come Soft Rain Technology Analysis

Insurance is payable, as are the water, gas, and light bills.” In the science fiction story “There Will Come Soft Rains” by Ray Bradbury, technology seems to be very helpful within a house that has the ability to not only remember important dates, but has a self cleaning system too.
To begin with, technology keeps uprising helping us further our knowledge. John Morrissey wrote on April 12, 2015 an untitled article, this house’s medical advancements are incredible. One thing it is capable of is watching whether its patient's heart is functioning right. It measures the patient's weight to make sure there is signs of water retention and it also checks for cancer types too. This house also has a system that is able to watch whether a patient’s taking their medication. Created by Proteus Digital Health, a chip uses gastric fluids as a power source, so it turns on once it gets to the stomach. The article states that sensor transmits the identity of the meds and the time it was taken to a skin patch which also detects and transmits heart rate, which they send the information to an app on the patient’s phone. It also has a kitchen that cooks and prepares browned toast, eggs sunnyside up, slices of bacon, coffee, and glasses of milk. Having this useful technology could leave us humans with the extra time we may need if theres things needed to be done around the house and we are running late or behind.
