“Donald Trump has not demonstrated the temperament necessary to assume the greatest office in the world,” said the Illinois Senator, Mark Kirk. The assumptions are made because of his behavior and how he portrays himself on the media. In addition, some of the Republicans, like Mike Murphy, see other candidates more fit and ready for the role of the president of the United States. The candidates identified as prepared for the position of presidency is the democratic party nominee, Hilary Clinton, as well as, Mike Pence, the Republican vice president nominee. As stated before, the Republicans oppose to vote for Donald Trump and will vote for someone else. He had different professions before being a candidate in the presidential election, professions, such as, being a businessman and a television producer. For being successful within these two occupations, he has gained large amounts of supporters for his campaign. However, his past has affected greatly his number of supporters. Also, his current action, as well, have declined the supporters and endorsements needed to keep running for president. Trump has said numerous amounts of derogatory comments about women, which was brought to life in the media when a video dated back in 2005 was released this passed month. Large number of Republicans, mostly women, quit supporting their nominee when shown this disrespectful video. Not only his past affected him in his campaign, his current actions are also involved in the loss of his support. In other words, his comments in the media, the rallies he goes and speaks his political views, as well as, his close relations with Vladimir Putin, are all actions that changed his supporters’ thoughts on whether to support him or not.
