Technology has become a revolutionary tool for education, by allowing the utilizing of information found on the World Wide Web. Teachers have adopted the digital age, by the use of various computer programs, and by incorporating the internet. Technology will never replace teacher, but “teachers who don’t use technology will be replaced by those who do”. (Trucano) Today teachers no longer only rely on the traditional methods of teaching, but now apply technology to their daily lessons. In many ways teachers have been both blessed by technology, and in contrast, have been cursed by technology. Even in physical education, technology is been utilized and implemented daily. For example, having a tablet in the physical education class can be used to watch video from sport expert, stay current on sports, and apply the new information into the class. Projectors, timer, calories trackers, learn new and different combined styles of exercise, or having access to a pedometer (step tracker) are all tools for the modern PE teacher (4). Another way that a teacher can incorporate another form of information distribution is QR (Quick Resource) codes. For example, “educators can place QR codes outside their class rooms that have links to their syllabus, contact information, and their advising hours (3). Teachers can provide a reminder of due dates, or a prompt like, start brainstorming tropic for research paper, or start out line for research paper. These reminders can help build organization, and time management skills for students. Remind101 can also cut down on excursuses, for missed assignment, which is sorry I forgot that assignment was due today, or I forgot to study for the test. Here is a great example of another technological tool that teacher can utilize to improve students
