The argumentative opposition would state that students are more likely to abuse the use of technology in a class setting by possibly entering explicit or non relevant sites. While they are correct in this aspect there are also loopholes for this statement such as allowing a set of restrictions on accessible content. Statistics have shown that more than 50% of teachers agree to the use of cellphones in their class as long as they have restrictions set. With these limitations, professors are able to assure their students are learning and engaging in learning activities rather than abusing the technology priviledge. In this way teachers can also provide children with the necessary tools to focus on having the right mindset centered around just their education. Enhancements on learning is evident as stated by an approximate 91% of teachers who noted a positive effect on their students. Not only has technology impacted students resource-wise, however, education institutions have also found that by using technology within the classroom they have also been able to reach out to children with disabilities. Students have heavily relied on technology since the 20th century making it easier for them to experience the same learning manners as one would in a classroom. For this reason, a survey conducted towards more than 20,000 college students resulted in only about 40% of students (8,000 students) attending lectures regularly. While this is based on college learners that also rely on work to pay off their education it is still a relatively low number. Professors have turned to use powerpoints and a system that connects them with each student providing students an easier way to experience a classroom lesson through their devices. The 21st century concerning learning environments centers around presenting information professionally to students. Whether students are able to retain the information presented relies on both the way professors are structuring their lesson plans and students relying on the technological face of the topic.
