The movie The Terminator was released on theatres in the United States on Friday October 26, 1984. The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action movie. The film was directed and written by James Cameron. Cameron then sold the script to producer Gale Anne Hurd for one dollar, with the condition that he be permitted to direct his dream movie. The motion picture had a great ideal of actors, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton. It was captured in Los Angeles, California and was produced by Hemdale Film Corporation and distributed by Orion Pictures.

The film is based on a cyborg who is dispatched from the future on a deadly mission. A human look alike is an indestructible cyborg and is sent from the year 2029 to the year 1984. He is on a quest to eliminate waitress Sarah Connor, whose life will have a substantial meaning in the future. The cyborg wants to assassinate Sarah because her unborn child will guide humanity in a war against the machines. One soldier is sent back to protect her from the killing machine. He must find Sarah before the Terminator can carry out its mission. (IMDb, 1990-2016) The resistance sends a soldier by the name of Kyle Reese.

Towards the end of the movie Kyle is able to bomb a gasoline tanker truck, which the terminator is driving, causing a massive explosion. The Terminator is almost destroyed but rises up and continues to approach Sarah and Kyle. Kyle is able to attack the Terminator and shoves a pipe bomb into the Terminator’s abdomen. While trying to get away from the second explosion, Kyle dies. The terminator then rises again grabbing Sarah, but she breaks free and she activates a hydraulic press destroying the Terminator. Later she records an audio tape which she plans to give to her unborn child,
