The stress response, often referred to "fight or flight" is an innate reaction that occurs physiologically in our body when a psychological alarm goes off warning us of a threat.
Once the brain lights up it sets off a chain reaction by releasing hormones like adrenaline and sending blood to the extremities so that it can fight the threat or flee from it.
