The roots of the Iraqi conflict begins and ends with the whole entirely story of Saddam Hussein in Iraq is one of terror, killing, and colonizing dreams. However, in 1979 Saddam Hussein took power (Rayment, 2007). Saddam was on a mission to take over and get things running and done his way that he did not wait to start a battle with his dominant neighbor, Iran. The war lasted approximately for 8 years (Rayment, 2007). Shortly after the end of the war a raid was propelled in Kuwait. His fast defeat by allied forces hardly decreased any other problems or war from happening. Because he had many alliances with people that pledge for the same things he want.
